OVERSEAS COMMUNITY
INVOLVEMENT PROJECTS

SERVICE BEYOND BORDERS

Overseas Community Involvement Projects (OCIPs) at LKCMedicine give students the chance to serve beyond borders. Each year, students travel to underserved regions in Asia to conduct health screenings, deliver public health education, and support community development.

These experiences deepen their understanding of global health challenges, build cultural awareness, and nurture the compassion that lies at the heart of medicine. OCIPs aren’t just service trips—they’re powerful lessons in humility, collaboration, and what it truly means to care.
