About The Event
The 2nd Singapore HIV Congress will be held virtually over two Saturdays on 27 November & 4 December 2021, 9am to 1pm, via ZOOM. Still wondering whether you should sign up for the congress? Here are some reasons why you should not miss it:
1) Professor Sharon Lewin, President-Elect of the International AIDS Society (IAS), who chairs the IAS Global Advisory board for the Towards an HIV Cure initiative, will be shedding further insight on HIV cure!
2) Dr Ronivinn, founder of LoveYourself Inc. in the Philippines, will be sharing his experiences on the roll out of HIV-self testing, and how the project scaled up to all sites of Global Fund in the Philippines.
3) Associate Professor Reena, whose research focuses on the immunopathogenesis of aging in people living with HIV, will be highlighting the emerging issues around the care of aging HIV population and how to address them.
4) Professor Adeeba, Chairman of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation and President of the IAS, will be discussing the stigma and discrimination faced by people living with HIV and the barriers to HIV prevention and treatment.
