About The Event

🧐 Are you a 3rd to 5th year medical student who wants to know more about clinical research and human challenge studies 🔬🩺?

Do you want to connect with peers from different countries and cultures and exchange ideas on ethical and scientific issues 🌏? (And earn some $$ in exchange for your input!)

If yes, then you should join the BRANCH Project in Singapore!  🎯

The BRANCH Project is an online cross-cultural workshop that brings together medical students from around the world to discuss topics such as ethical issues, risk perception, consent, and appropriate remuneration for clinical research. The workshop will feature a series of events, including science cafes, debates, focus group discussions, and in-depth interviews 💡, which you can choose which activities to participate in (you do not need to join all the activities). All research-related events will be carried out via Zoom/MS Teams in 1-2 hours and a monetary token of appreciation will also be given to every participating student.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from and collaborate with other students from different countries, and to gain a deeper understanding of the social and cultural impact on community’s perception of clinical research while being remunerated for your time and effort.

 ⏰ Time: 4.00 – 6.30 pm (SGT) on following days Saturday, 4th Nov 2023 Saturday, 11th Nov 2023
