The Final Journey Collective partners with Cheng Hong AMS to give medical students meaningful service-learning experiences honouring individuals who pass away without family or support.

ABOUT US
The Final Journey Collective is a newly established service-learning initiative that addresses a critical gap in medical education: while students are trained to manage death clinically, there are few structured opportunities to engage with its human dimensions — grief, loss, and dignity. In partnership with Cheng Hong Welfare Service Society’s Afterlife Memorial Service (AMS), the project allows medical students to witness and honour individuals who pass on without next of kin or the means for a proper send-off.
