Through residency engagements, outreach events and academic content, LKC Surgical Society seeks to help students appreciate the transformative power of surgery.
ABOUT US
LKC Surgical Society was founded in 2016 with the goal of connecting students with surgical specialties and their residency programmes in Singapore. Since then, we have organised talks and events with various surgical subspecialties from GS to Neurosurgery, such as SSKIP with PRAS, Bowel and Bladder Day with KKH Paediatric Surgery, developed approaches to common surgical presentations and sourced for research opportunities. Through our initiatives, we hope students will be inspired to pursue a surgical career in the future, and more importantly, appreciate the ability of surgery to change the trajectory of patients' lives.
