Project Kirakira aims to raise awareness and address the gaps in the care for sexual assault victims in Singapore.

ABOUT US
Project Kirakira aims to raise awareness and address the gaps in the care for sexual assault victims in Singapore. Through our initiatives, we aim to empower and equip medical students with a deeper understanding of the complexities surrounding sexual assault, ensuring that they are better prepared to support and advocate for survivors in the clinical setting.
Clinical Communication Workshop
Organised annually, this workshop aims to better equip medical students with skills to sensitively interact with sexual assault victims. We invited expert speakers in the field to shed light on the situation locally and their roles, before sharing tips on how students can handle future scenarios sensitively. Following that, participants apply what they have learned through simulated encounters with simulated participants (SPs).
AWARE Video Series
Moving forward, Project Kirakira will be starting a video series in partnership with AWARE. We hope to continue educating both students and the public on the issue of sexual assault and bring about meaningful changes.
