Project Envision collaborates with the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) to support individuals with visual impairments through inclusive community initiatives.

ABOUT US
Project Envision is a student-led community intiative that strives to build a more inclusive and accessible society for individuals with visual impairments. We collaborate with the Singapore Association for the Visually Handicapped (SAVH), a national welfare organisation that empowers individuals with visual impairments through training, skill development and community support.
As Singapore becomes more digital, our team aims to bridge the gap between technology and accessibility for individuals with visual impairments. We organise workshops for visually impaired individuals and caregivers to learn how to use assistive tools on their smartphones such as VoiceOver and TalkBack, and we also develop simple, easy-to-follow manuals to support future users and caregivers. Beyond digital skills, we also work closely with the White Cane Club under SAVH. Run by both sighted and visually impaired volunteers, the club supports the social, recreational and welfare needs of its members through activities such as Dining in the Dark, workshops, exercise sessions and community events.
Through these efforts, Project Envision hopes to raise awareness and build a more inclusive and understanding society where individuals with visual impairments can live with independently and confidently.
