Pallipals is a palliative care initiative where our volunteers dedicate time and heart to bringing comfort, companionship, and creative joy to elderly residents in hospice care.

ABOUT US
Pallipals is a LCIP oriented towards palliative care, aiming to foster a greater understanding towards palliative care among volunteers while providing support and comfort for palliative patients and raising awareness about palliative care among medical students.
Volunteering with the Integrated Community Hospital(ICH) at Tan Tock Seng Hospital
Pallipals volunteers befriend and interact with patients, cheering them up and supporting them through the complex and sometimes negative emotions which may arise during their palliative care journey. Whether it is alleviating their boredom, being a listening ear, or providing emotional support, serving palliative care patients is at the heart of what Pallipals does.
Volunteering with HCA at Oasis@Outram
Starting last year, Pallipals has also partnered with HCA to organize handicraft sessions and festive activities, as well as providing befriending services to patients at their Oasis@Outram Day Centre. Volunteering with Pallipals is a unique opportunity that will allow you to touch the lives of palliative patients, hone your skills in areas such as communication, empathy, leadership, and learn more about palliative care through valuable first-hand experiences on the ground.
