ABOUT US
Dover Park Hospice (DPH) is a non-profit organisation that provides palliative care to individuals. The Tanzanites group of volunteers primarily conduct befriending activities (i.e. interacting with patients), but may also engage in various other tasks depending on the hospice's needs.
The various activities we perform include both patient and non patient facing tasks. Patient facing activities involve befriending, medical escort (to appointments) and other miscellaneous activities including playing games with the patients! Non patient facing activities include setting up and taking down decorations and medication stock taking for home care packs.
